3rd (Reserve) Battalion, East Yorkshire Regiment, Also, 1st/3rd Battalion, East Yorkshire Regiment.
Regular Army Reserve Battalion. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission website is the only place I have found reference to 1st/3rd battalion. This is possibly a misprint and should read 1st/4th as regular army battalions did not have duplicates but territorial force battalions did.
The Commonwealth War Graves Commission has 130 recorded WW1 deaths for the 3rd (Reserve) Battalion, East Yorkshire Regiment.

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission has 7 recorded WW1 deaths for the 1st/3rd Battalion, East Yorkshire Regiment BUT, I can find no other information on this battalion so I think it may be some form of mistake.
