I have found no trace of a 1st/2nd Battalion except in CWGC for this one man. I have therefore included him here as well as in the 15th Battalion. But, I think he is probably from one of the duplicate Territorial Force Battalions.

He served in his fathers regiment prior to transferring to the 4th (Extra Reserve) Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers.
