Killed in action leading his platoon near Ovillers. Monday 17-07-1916. Age 18. Son of Major Percy Macgregor King & Ethel Gordon King of Ford House, Ford, Shropshire, UK. The original battlefield cross from his grave can be viewed at Ford Church along with 3 other battlefield crosses from World War 1.
