Queant Communal Cemetery British Extension, Pas-de-Calais, France. 19-09-1918. Age 35. Son of Sir William Gibbons, KCB. & Sara Antoinetta Gibbons (nee Cholmeley) of Weybridge, UK. Husband of Annie M. Gibbons of Finnart Cottage ,Broom Close, Esher, Surrey, UK. Born 18-06-1883 Fought on the North West Frontier in 1908. He gained the rank of Major with the Middlesex Regiment, then the rank of temporary Lieutenant Colonel, posted to the 7th Battalion, Highland Light Infantry. Stone Inscription :- "Son Of William & Sara Gibbons Of Weybridge Husband Of Annie Gibbons".
