Killed in action leading his platoon near Ovillers, Pas-de-Calais, France. 17-07-1916. Age 18. Son of Major Percy MacGregor King & Ethel Gordon King of Ford House, Ford, Shropshire, UK. The original wooden cross from his grave & a brass plaque commemorating this officer can be found in St. Michael's Church, Ford, Shropshire, Stone Inscription :- "Lord All Pitying Jesu Blest Grant Him Thine Eternal rest".
