Son of the Reverend Canon Woodford St. Hill. Husband of Annabel St. Hill (nee Maryon-Wilson), of 10, Wilbraham Place, London. Served in the Royal North Devon Hussars for 18 years & fought in the Matabele, Angoni & South African Campaigns. Also served at Galipoli where he commanded 6th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment at the evacuation of Suvla Bay.
