ORLEBAR, Basil John. Captain. 3rd (Reserve) Battalion, Attached :- 1st Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment. Dranouter Churchyard, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Killed in action. 15-01-1915. Age 39. Son of John Orlebar of Silsoe, Bedfordshire, UK. Husband of Barbara F. Orlebar of The Dene, Triangle, Yorkshire, UK. Born 08-09-1875. He had a private education before attending the Currie Engineering School at Folkstone. He was killed instantly when a shell landed atop his dugout whilst in the front line. Stone Inscription :- "Eternal Rest Give To Him O Lord".
