Killed in action. Sunday 30-12-1917. Age 19. Son of Mrs. S.C. Ffolkes of Congham Lodge, King's Lynn, Norfolk, UK. Also remembered on the War Memorial at Hillington, x Norfolk. Stone Inscription :- "I Thank My God Upon Every Remembrance Of You".
VILLIERS, William Earle. Captain. 5th (Reserve) Battalion, Attached :- 9th (Service) Battalion, King's Royal Rifle Corps. White House Cemetery, St. Jean-les-Ypres, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Saturday 10-11-1917. Age 20. Son of John Russell & Grace Elizabeth Villiers of Hans Place, Sloane Street, London, UK. He matriculated at New College, Oxford but didn't take up residency but went straight into the army at the outbreak of war. He was killed at Wieltje, Belgium while supervising a working party. Stone Inscription :- "May He Rest In Peace And Rise In Glory".
